MAIN EXTENSION PROCESS

For a new main extension (for areas that do not have existing water/wastewater), complete the Main Extension Application and submit to inaw.developerservices@amwater.com. You will receive a link to the Developer Portal for your specific project. The Developer Portal will allow your team to collaborate with the Developer Services Team for the main extension review process.

The Developer Portal has all the updated Specifications including the Standard Details in PDF and autoCAD format. Also includes detailed instructions for each stage of the process along with all necessary documents:

1. Design Stage - Design Requirements, 2019-Technical Specifications, Standard Detail Drawings, Main Extension Standard Notes, Standard Easement for Developer Projects
2. Agreement Stage
3. Transfer of Ownership
