Water Loading Stations

Bulk water-loading stations provide significant environmental benefits by optimizing water management, reducing waste, supporting sustainable infrastructure, and cutting down pollution associated with transport and plastic production. The key environmental benefit of a bulk station is its ability to reduce the risk of cross-connections with the potable water system, as it replaces the need for trucks to connect directly to hydrants.

These stations, which allow trucks and tankers to load large quantities of water efficiently, serve as a critical tool for conservation and rural development. Contractors, farmers, landscapers, etc. can pay with a credit card and select the number of gallons they want to purchase.

Missouri American Water maintains multiple Water Loading Stations throughout the state for the convenience of customers who require small bulk water purchases, such as customers with landscaping businesses and farms, and those who use cisterns.

The bulk water stations are automated and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Credit/debit card payments ONLY at all stations except for Brunswick, which is coin operated only.

 

Rates:

  • For Hazelwood location, the rate is $10.3749 per 1,000 gallons
  • For all other locations, the rate is $11.2023 per 1,000 gallons
