Irrigation Schedule

  • Customers may water up to three days per week.
  • Please water outdoors before 9:00 am or after 8:00 pm
  • Do not allow water to run onto sidewalks or gutters
  • Consider running irrigation systems for 3-4 minutes, 2-3 times per watering day

FREE Water Wise Surveys are available. California American Water provides free water use consultations for our residential and non-residential customers. For residential customers, a conservation specialist will visit your home, identify ways to help you save water, and even provide free low flow fixtures for your kitchen and bathroom. For non-residential customers, a conservation specialist will calculate an individualized water budget and provide water saving recommendations. Please call your Conservation Specialist at 707-304-8202 ext. 0 to schedule your in home survey.

Update on State Water Board Ban on Watering “Non-Functional” Turf With Potable Water

For commercial, institutional, and HOA common areas, the decorative grass watering emergency ban has expired: The Emergency Regulation to Ban Decorative Grass Watering (non-functional turf irrigation) in commercial, industrial, and institutional areas, including HOA common areas expired by operation of law on June 5, 2024. In October 2023, however, the California State Legislature passed Assembly Bill 1572, which phases in a ban on decorative grass watering in commercial, industrial, and institutional areas permanently”.

Sonoma County Sanitation District Water Rebates

Many California American Water customers in our Larkfield service area receive sanitary service from Sonoma County Water Agency (SCWA) and are eligible for their rebate programs. For more information on SCWA’s rebate programs, please visit: www.scwa.ca.gov.
